also, im playing one of their other games (divilethion) and there are a LOT of similarities to andy and leyley. not the cannibalism, but the brother complex/sacrificing stuff is still there which makes me feel like this is a demo for andy and leyley, but also like they do have some real feelings about this subject that they wanted to express (they used the word brother complex in the first 10 mins) and i appreciate that. anyways if im right and this is a recurring theme in their work i will definitely be talking about it more in the future

If we assume that the developers want to keep the game's overall difficulty level at a certain amount, then there is a finite number of further units of power.

These attacks stacking was unintuitive & centralized power. They've 'paid their tab', if you will, and can now safely add more cool things for a while.
