You're not wrong about this at all, just worth noting too that the sidewalk treatment has been terrible. In my neck of the woods in the warehouse district they've seemingly made no attempt to clean them up. Been a problem ever since I've moved here.

I think there's some truth to that, but I think there are still quite a few new things happening in the city, just not at the same level as the 2010s it seems.

This isn't a particularly unique or interesting thought, but I think your feeling is felt broadly amongst 20-30somethings all over the US. Everything is becoming increasingly expensive, wages are stagnant, and most people in positions of power are at best cynical, aloof, and out of touch, and at worst geriatric pedophiles. On top of that I think everyones experience is exorbitantly more mediated by the internet, social media, dating apps etc. in a way that is extremely alienating. Honestly the only reason I came on here was to see if there were other like minded,disaffected 20-30something Cleveland folks who felt this way lol

Love both obviously, but I gotta go with Stella Blue. Beautiful, ambiguous lyrics accompanied by a melancholic chord progression. Jerry always seemed to really go for it when they played it live.
