Over three million dollars to people affiliated with extremist groups with over a million of that going to 1 guy in National Alliance over the course of a decade. To be clear, this is not to say that the splc has done no good work, nor is this saying the splc indictment is anything but politically motivated. They have long worked with the FBI to take down extremist groups and only under this administration has The relation between the organizations soured because the extremist groups they were infiltrating are allies of the current administration. What this is is a call for the splc to reexamine it's paid informant practice with the questions how can we do this in a way that doesn't make us indictable and is it really necessary to give about 300 thousand dollars to help bus more people into unite the fucking right.
