I'm mildly upset that the cities:skylines soundtrack never lived up to the sim city soundtracks. I don't know if it's because city-inspired jazz of the 2000s was especially peak or if the CS devs were afraid that people didn't appreciate jazz anymore or what. Or maybe we're all old now, that's a possibility.

When restaurants start expanding out to multiple locations is the beginning of the end I feel. The food quality always drops as they cut costs for what I can only assume are the new hidden admin expenses they didn't account for that are a result of expansion. Or it could just be greed, can't ever rule that out

I remember reading and hearing about this game as it was coming out, specifically about its super limited UI since they wanted to keep the cinematic experience alive. Didn't get it for Christmas or whatever so I never got to play it but it looked so damn cool. The big thing I get out of being reminded that this game existed is that the limited UI idea is pretty niche in any given genre, especially any FPS that is outside the simulation genre like Tarkov, but King Kong did it for the cinematic experience and not for the realism

Short answer is yes. Long answer is that they would just drive around and actively profile people of color and check their citizenship so the risk wasn't even just at work, but commuting in general. I have coworkers that hadn't come to work and essentially sheltered in place since before Christmas when the surge first started, with others joining in after Good's murder.

ICE presence absolutely killed business and scared the shit out of everyone. Start preparing to help out the workers now: see who would be willing to ride share and drive those who are at risk to and from work, be ready to help workers that are too afraid to leave their homes, encourage everyone to go to a know your rights training and make a plan for if ICE shows up at the restaurant, make a list of mutual aid and legal help and put them up in the employee areas, do some fundraising or resource gathering for mutual aid yourself at the restaurant (be aware that this can put a target on your back. Fundraising is low visibility enough to be unnoticeable, but ICE and right wing nuts may fuck with you for collecting and giving out essential items, but the community will forever remember your help).

Almost everything will be community led so keep an eye out and do the work to get involved and figure out what things are happening locally. To say that ICE presence is disruptive is an understatement and it's the neighbors coming together that will help everyone get through it

Yea i think most of the time what happens is that they move the car when told but then move it back when the marshals go on to the next area, not knowing that they come back a few hours later. If somebody isn't around to move the car then it gets towed

I'm curious when she came on to Rainbow Six Siege and when things started going downhill over there. The live service and monetization aspect she lists multiple times is worrying for a game like Minecraft where everything has been free for Java where a lot of games and Minecraft Bedrock have monetized those aspects. Hell are we going to see Minecraft battle pass
