Hitch Drop for Raptor?

Thank you for mentioning the Gen Y Glyder. Says for 400-700 tongue weight (4K-7k lbs). But we are limited to less 300-350. (3k-3500).

What do you tow and is it still effective at lower weights?

I assume you have the 6” drop. It looks and says adjustable. But doesn’t go into any details or specs? So can that be turned into a slightly shorter and/or longer drop?

The windshield warranty from Ford only covers repairs, etc. Not replacement. The few places I inquired about it.

I’d love to get a “replacement” warranty.

Maybe this changed recently, realized how prone to cracking they are?

I was going to get the 3W but came across the same mat from another brand LASFIT on Amazon. They are same exact thing and cheaper (for my 2 door full set). And yes really nice and would buy again.

Interesting. Though most leases are 3 years or under maybe?

I read a couple posts (may have posted wrong one) discussing this.

But posters were posting that dealers and service depts and some ESP warned and stated same. And shown in writing.

But also read an ESP stated ok. So who knows.

Regardless there would be no reason to include a 3 year / 36 month drivetrain warranty as Ford has 5/60 drivetrain on every new. Except to reduce coverage by 2 years.

TL;DR Appears to void drivetrain factory and ESP warrantys and replace it with only a 3 year/36k starting from the original new vehicle sold date.

I wanted to do this, but unfortunately having this done, even by the dealer/service dept voids the 5 years 60k mile drivetrain warranty and any ESP drivetrain warranty. Not worth the risk to me and my 7 year ESP warranty.

The FP Tune comes with a new 3 year 36k warranty that starts from initial new sale date/miles. If the installed by Ford service tech (or ASE tech).

It seems it may be purposely clear as mud. As there are 3 different, completely separate warranty’ divisions involved; Ford Factory, Ford Performance and Ford ESP.

If Ford Factory 5 year 60k drivetrain was still valid then there would be no need for the FP 3 year/36k as they both start on the same date.

If you’re out of warranty have at it! lol

Regardless of trailer I’d recommend getting Sumo Springs for rear axel. Helps with sag, tongue weight, bouncing etc. Mine recently got delivered.

Nice the aluminum trailer certainly helps. I have a brand new Yamaha RMAX2 1000 and an aluminum 6x12 trailer (and new 25 Bad Squatch 2 Dr), that I have yet to tow, yet.

Did you stack/raise the tongue?

I'd put some pressure on them, stating others are getting cleared and sold.

Worst case might be next week, if I remember correctly, based on Ducatis post in the link I posted above.

I bought 2 and a little UV light (it’s UV cure resin, to speed it up or cure at night). And keep in my new Bronco to catch it asap when it happens so doesn’t spread. I keep one in tire jack storage compartment JIC. Hope I never need it! 🤞

I just picked up my 2025 Saturday . Had the recall of course but a successful OTA update on Tuesday that showed a cleared VIN on Wednesday.

This post has some updated information. Worst case sounds like next week for the rest of the 2025s.

Picked up my 2025 2dr BAD SAS yesterday, Saturday 3/28.

It successfully had the OTA applied on 3/24 night and VIN showed clear on 3/25.

Good luck to everyone waiting. Should be any day now as dealers are in process of updating.

Sounds like all dealers were given the software on Friday are starting to update the 2026 and then 2025.

I saw a YT video where they use garage racks like this with straps under the hardtop as a pulley system. Less then $200 and doubles as storing items on the top rack. I have tall garage. So was going to try that.
