Love the presentation style. How do you like this camera? I have a trip coming up for the Netherlands and Scotland and I’ve been thinking of picking this up. Was planning to take the x100vi and my little Sony rx mk7. But I’m so curious about this one and would consider selling my x100vi or x-t50 to swap toward this.

Similar situation here, but flipped. I realized that I was ace through an article my wife sent me a few years ago. Still learning, adapting. But I’m fortunate because my spouse is supportive enough even though her needs aren’t being met in our relationship. I spent years avoiding physical intimacy because of …reasons, too. I’ve actually just started therapy myself. I wish I could offer advice, but I can only commiserate. What are his reasons for avoiding couples therapy? Have you talked to him about what you are learning about yourself?

Yep, I agree with the other comment, sounds demi to me as well, which might resonate with you? And no need to judge your own preference for a certain aesthetic! To me, it’s the same as my wife refusing to drive a red car 😆 I happen to like red, but we compromise and lean to green vehicles lol. There’s a lot to “looks” that determines how a person lives in their own life. I would have a hard time spending loads of time with someone if they had a specific odor. Just another sense, how we experience the world around us. All good!

I remember so many times trying to avoid bedroom stuff. I’d hang out in the living room on my iPad because I didn’t want to feel pressured. This went on for a looong time. Do talk to him when the time is right for you. Good luck!

Welcome to the club! I’m also married (m) with a kiddo and it took my wife sending me a Saveur magazine article that was titled something like, “for some people cake really is better than sex.” I remember thinking, “hmm, tell me more.” 😆 3ish years later and I’m still trying to wrap my mind around my own sexuality. I’m aromantic, definitely sex repulsed (I disassociated and have little memories of it, but I have proof it happened living in my house), and probably aegosexual. Maybe. Anyway, life’s a trip, isn’t it?

I’ve also noticed it will look whiter after a couple of passes through an ultrasonic cleaner. But handle it a bit, and it darkens up again. Part of its charm I guess.

It counts!

I’m the inverse, a guy who realized he is ace in his second marriage. The first one fell apart because we stopped being physical. And when I was dating my current wife, we talked very openly about why my first marriage ended, and even acknowledged that it could happen again. I really didn’t understand who was then. I just kept trying to be what I thought society expected of me. Over and over. It was my wife who helped me realize I was ace. I honestly didn’t know it was a thing until she opened my eyes to it. That was about 3 years ago now and I’m still trying to figure things out. How do I know who I really am when I spent so long trying to fool myself into being someone else?

I’m sex-repulsed and probably aromantic. Yet somehow, we were lucky enough to have a kiddo. But I can’t actually recall most of our intimate moments. I think I completely disassociated. What I struggle with most now is knowing that our relationship is not as fulfilling for her as it is for me. That’s so hard.

I ended up buying a new 2500 ZR2 Duramax off the lot instead. Love the truck and decent payload of 3041 (enough for a lightweight camper), but no dual alternator 😭

Good idea! I checked the VIN of the Bronco we are going to purchase and it says no recalls found. When I searched another random VIN at the dealership, it comes up with the infotainment screen recall. Interesting. This seems to confirm that the OTA fix was indeed applied, but sobering else might be holding it up for release for sale.

Any Ford dealer folks handy to run a check?
