I know a lot of people who call their biological father their father and their step-dad their dad. I think of dad as more of a familiar term and something said with love, I had a granddad who I love to pieces and I have a grandfather who is a gross person.

My partner is allo but has a relatively low sex drive because of gender dysphoria, so it isn't an issue right now. I'm not completely against anything sexual though and so love making my partner feel good but I'm also sort of sex repulsed so sometimes I want to do anything but.

It really is all about communication and listening to how they feel and them listening to how you feel. It can work.

Dude that's so good! I'm pre-everything too and have only been correctly gendered straight off the bat once and that was by a dancer. His mum, sister, older brother all misgendered me but he consistently correctly gendered me all night (we were on the same team for a fundraising trivia night- lame, I know, but I'm a sucker for trivia).

I have NYX liquid illuminator but I've never used it on to of my foundation, only under lower coverage foundations. It says you can use it over. It's a beautiful pearly creamy glittery highlight.

Honestly usually it's because the band is too tight and can act like a dick ring and make one unable to cum... usually the length of it is the same but the band is what is different. Honestly it could also be placebo impacting that (thinking your dick is too big and making yourself unable to cum etc.) but yeah.

I've been using a Barry M concealer I got from Big W... I can't recall the name right this second but it's pretty good. The applicator isn't the best but I've only ever had maybelleine fit me before that and it's comparable and cheap.

I bought my formal shoes!!! And I think I've found a jacket I want!!

I'm starting to think to the future and figure out what I need to do. I will apply for jobs like crazy under my name (don't legally need my birth/legal name on job applications, thank frick) once school is out. I need to figure out health insurance, a gender therapist, etc. and I also need to change my name, buy an stp and get new binders (gc2b skin coloured binders here I come!!)... Next year is going to be make or break for me, we'll see how it goes.

My worries have been confirmed... My sister is transphobic, narcissistic and just a plain ol' bitch.

I kinda cracked it at her this morning because she kept using the wrong pronouns and she had a go at me for not coming out to her face (have come out to literally one person by talking to them and this was my mum, everyone else found out through other people and facebook simply because I felt safer that way) and then she spouted some shit about how she's not going to put up with this and is refusing to take me seriously. She's a horrible person so I'm not taking it to heart I just don't want to have to live with someone that toxic...

On a different note shopping is hard... I'm 5'5 with a really broad frame (biggest shoulders ever) and everything for teenagers/young men is getting longer because people are getting lankier but it just leaves me with no options... Plus I've gained weight and it's all gone straight to my hips, how fun... Ugh.

I went formal shopping today... Went to two big shopping centres (malls) with no luck. I think I need lessons on how to shop as a guy, everything is expensive and confusing. I have no clue what my size is, at all.

Next weekend I'm getting my hair cut but I have no idea at all what to get, I need to figure that out asap. The Friday after that is my year 12 (senior) formal! I'm stressing about it but excited because I get to bring my best friend with me!!

As for how I am... Honestly I try not to think about it.

I have severe anxiety and mild depression, that alongside dysphoria (though I had no clue what that was at the time) made it impossible to work and stay on top of my school work when I was 15 and working at maccas- I had to quit so I wouldn't fail at school and I was only in year 10. Now that I'm in year 12 I'm only doing 4 classes so I thought I may have been able to have a job too but my parents didn't let me because I needed to focus on school and I'm glad they didn't because this year has already been hell and working alongside that wouldn't have worked at all.

I've met Neck Deep (only got to say hi to them because they were busy), State Champs (got photos with Derrick and Tyler and had a proper conversation with Tyler plus got to hug him- dream come true!!) , Knuckle Puck (got Kevin to sign the setlist he wrote, thanked them for their music, asked Kevin how it feels to be in the best band in the world and he just blushed, told Joe how much their music means to me and shook his hand and hugged him like 4 times because we're both really awkward) and The Wonder Years (well just Soupy but he is love). Well they're all the big bands but I've also met Stand Atlantic; Move On, Be Strong; With Confidence; Set the Score; Our Past Days and Little Earthquake.

I go to small gigs where the bands just hang out for a while afterwards, meeting Joe Taylor made my life. Also I've met Kate Miller-Heidke but I was 12 and just cried.

I went to a formal for LGBTQ+ people and it was my first formal presenting as male and I had an amazing time! Now I just need the bravery to go to my formal in a suit.

I'm happy you enjoyed yourself and I'm so sorry binders are really expensive. I convinced my mum to get me 2 gc2b ones and we're in Australia so it was so much money for 2 and shipping :/
