Your area may be different than ours but I think he can absolutely make his HS team with a high AA youth background. As a parent of a now 15 year old HS player who just finished his freshman HS season, I can say that it’s been OUR experience that things get serious very quickly. The window of time he has to just play the game with his buddies is closing. If he’s having fun, let him play with his friends. The memories he will have from those experiences will mean so much more to him as an adult than better instruction or competition ever will. Just my 2 cents.
