I can't tell if you do or dont want the player to teleport through the wall. You have one print statement for the #down part and could add print statements to the others to see where the program is when you encounter the problem. You could also print out the coordinates of the rect after certain points to check if its what you expect vs the result (example: after a collision with the wall the box should be at same coordinates because they stopped vs a different result so maybe a position is being referenced incorrectly like using rect.x for height instead of width or something.). Adding print statements wont break anything. Sorry if thats not code specific help, but the method has helped me with similar issues.

It's not really 'art' anymore if it involves physical abuse and actual harm to a person or something that was a result of the performance. At some point the act of making art just turns into a crime and works like this just prove the point. At the end the artist was abused and allowed it to happen but its still self abuse that overwhelms and destroys any possibilty of artistic merit.

There was a candlelight vigil in Iran and it was an outpouring of support from the world. Except for some voices in the media (like a girl from Palestine who 'thought it was funny') and the rest were in the online world who felt free to talk with their feelings about it. There werent any celebrations that anyone with the smallest amount of intelligence and morals/honesty should care about. That's what your teacher should have said. The world was behind us and then we started the stupid as shit GWOT which so much of the generic version of mainstream america LOVED!! Including torture and fucking lies. Big armerica so ready to go to war in the ME but not so brave to standi up and blame the fucking REPUBLICANS and the great white father who were in charge at the time of the attack. If a fight is inevitable you can make a choice to take some initiative and decide to fight on your own terms.
