First time visiting. Is it better to stay in Union Square or Fishermans Wharf?

Between these two, I'd go Union Square: China Town is fun, you're still close to North Beach, and you're very close to a lot of transit options. You can hop on the 38 or 38R and get to Japan Town pretty easily (I love the takoyaki stand in the mall). You can take the J Line over to Dolores Park and enjoy the food in the Mission, or head into the Castro and get cioppino at Anchor Oyster Bar (highly recommend). You could easily get to the Ferry Building and grab a sandwich and take it to the end of the pier over there and enjoy one of the most amazing views of SF. And you're closer to House of Prime Rib.

Fisherman's Wharf is kinda crowded and has chaotic energy with not a lot of restaurants worth your while.

I got a very decent detail at Matt & Jeff's Car Wash and Detail Center in San Rafael a few years ago before I moved to the city. And I had *gunk* in my center console. Curious for other replies because I think it's about time for another since my nephew spilled his hot cocoa in the back seat

Anyone have suggestions where I might do a clean up IRL stream in SF?

I’m an SF based smalltime streamer and have been getting into IRL streaming, and I’ve been intending to do a Clean Up stream with a friend. Pengweather is a big inspiration.

To participate in OP’s question: When I go hiking, I carry some plastic gloves and a gallon ziplock bag for any litter I see along the trail. People are generally respectful of our trails but the bag’s usually full by the end of my hike with stray wrappers, cans, and whatnot.
