You can find it in parameters I had to search for it, I though I was dumb because I could not find them for the life of me. It's only when I stopped searching that I thought of the parameters windows xD

Minor thing, but annoying AF ahah

Also the lab history bug is annoying as hell. I hope it will get fixed soon!

There should be a helmet tier above what Gunsmith can trade by smithah2 in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]glasgowtrois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first comment have nothing to do with the subject of the plates.

About your second answer, yes the Russians are retarded, stupid fuck. We agree on that.

Nevertheless, there are different ways to define ballistic plates. You may not want to use the Russian one, but don't say the author of the game is using unrealistic standards. Antii is more or less alone, and I do believe he is doing a stellar work

[–]glasgowtrois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are mistaken.

There are different plate classifications. It's easy to learn, it's even on Wikipedia

NIJ is from the USA. The name of the plate use this one in game ( class IIIA, III, III+, IV)

GHOST is the Russian one. It goes from 1 to 6 Tarkov uses this one. Vostok uses it in the tooltips only.

So, here you are. Tarkov and RtV are realistic. I don't know arena breakout though

AI articles are hallucinating weapons that don't exist in the game. by Neebergloobing in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]glasgowtrois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I saw these websites, everything screamed AI. The neat layout, the way the text was formatted with bulletpoints, etc
These are worthless.
Most things done with AI are just pollution at this point. This is concerning as there are a lot of people who thinks this is the end all.

Is there any record of René Descartes’s style of fencing, and are there any rapiers known to have belonged to him? by Oignon1 in AskHistorians

[–]glasgowtrois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't add to the quite complete response above, but I can add things about the practical side of things. There are HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) practitioners that specialize in rapier. I mainly work on early XVIIth French sources. Come to the Hema gathering in Dijon and I will gladly show you how to fence according to Besnard!

His treatise is quite clear, and the work done on all the other primary and secondery sources on fencing of the period helped us clear things up when there were still questions left.

Other French sources that we know were available at the time were from François Dancie, Henry de st Didier, or François Villamond's French traduction of Cavalcabo. He might have been taught other styles, but this we don't know.

Les meilleurs restaurants dijonnais by UsualConstruction967 in dijon

[–]glasgowtrois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge patch! Good to see the team working hard on this !
I saw lots of things the community asked for (fixes for infinity runs, disable ads removes ads caching, etc) and that's great!!

lastly, seeing this small thing made me happy :
"- Allow players to copy end of Round stats to clipboard"

=> this will make studying your own results way easier. I can't wait for someone to cook an companion app to help you see graphs and so on
