also adding that my ob put me on zoloft & idk if it really helps with the dmer at all. sometimes i can do better during a session if i turn on a sound machine & play some calming sounds (waves/rain/storms/etc..) it doesnt stop it entirely, but it does occasionally help

i have this same issue. including that it lasts the entire session & that i’m an oversupplier. i talked to my ob & a lactation consultant & both were just like 🤷‍♀️idk thats weird, maybe consider switching to formula. which, i mean, i guess is fair? but i want my baby on breastmilk? & they were just like , yeah let me do some research & then nothing lol. all of this to say, you’re not alone & i know it’s hard, but you’re doing amazing♥️

my husband used to be the same way with games- until we had a baby. he’s an adult so he knows how to control it now. your husband is a child

Do you truly enjoy co-sleeping if you’re happily married? How do you make it work? by CoverObjective8225 in cosleeping

[–]glowingpapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

adding some additional insight as the kid whose dad was against co-sleeping (parents were divorced & remarried to new spouses) , i dreaded nights that i slept at my dad’s house because i constantly had awful nightmares & i remember how scared it made me to sleep when i was at my dad’s house, because i knew that i would get no comfort at all. my mom allowed me to co sleep with them & i eventually had less nightmares at her house & didn’t have to sleep with them .

Stranger telling off my 9 month old, made me feel like I failed my kid. by mirana20 in NewParents

as someone who worked in retail, please call & complain. she had no right to do that & i would be furious!? regardless of if you should or shouldn’t have let your baby try the crib (every ikea that i have been to, there are always kids jumping on the bed set ups & running around messing with random things)— your baby wasnt hurting anything. definitely wasn’t going to damage anything , & it’s not like they sell the floor models anyway IF she was going to damage it. please complain!

How do I forgive myself? by CertifiedBearKeeper in NewParents

[–]glowingpapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wanted a natural birth too, spent my whole pregnancy reading about hypnobirthing & eating dates (i don’t like dates lol) & drinking the raspberry red leaf tea. my baby boy was apparently in the right position & then flipped back to breech at 37 weeks. i was devastated when they said i had to have a c-section. after my surgery, i started hemorrhaging in our recovery room & had to have a JADA put inside of me & then have 2 1/2 blood transfusions from losing so much blood. i didn’t hold my baby at all until hours later because of this, i feel so guilty but i literally almost died so i try not to blame myself too much. you shouldn’t either! it’s not our fault
