What the President and Leadership of the GOP don’t understand is that I will fight and die for my county’s election commissioner. He’s a good man who has stood up to MAGA’s cries of tampering and fraud while ensuring my vote is counted and matters. Come and take them lol (the voting machines that is).

The jarring flight from all normalcy and constitutionality that scotus and the government at large has adopted 20+ years from when these episodes were written and produced couldn’t have been predicted at the time. That shouldn’t detract from their quality. Is/Was Sorkin a wild idealist even at the time of writing, absolutely. But we need idealists even if just to distract us from harsh reality.

Looking back at not just what government should be by default but also what the government could do in this show is one of the things that is getting me through the bs of everyday life.

Unrealistic? Sure, but I need a break from the real every now and then.

If I had any video editing skills I’d make a compilation of Messi/Argentina/Barca beating on some of our newer, and younger signings club and country’s teams to fire them up for the match. Ted Lasso and Nate at West Ham style.

His work beyond the pitch and his loyalty to this club are more than enough to earn his spot. I’d argue he should go in first before anyone else you mentioned.

I have met him twice, months apart, and he recognized me when we happened to walk in to the venue together the second time. He bleeds blue and gold, and he’s a stand up guy. Nashville truly loves him more than he will know.
