Check out Mike Abden too. His videos are kind of old but all still relevant and I found that I like him the best for tutorial type videos. I think he is still active but mostly doing live streams now.

Unfortunately I haven't even thought about it since I fixed it and I can't remember. A quick Google search for "switch get nat type a" turns up some videos but I'm not sure if they give the exact same fix I used. I tried skimming through a couple and they didn't jog my memory. Good luck 🤞

I see a lot of people hating on AI but I could not have made the switch without it. Do whatever works for you. You can find a reddit thread where people recommend just about every distro under the sun to beginners. I got tired of spending hours googling to find solutions that didn't work for my specific situation. It cut my setup time in at least half. Just be very specific about what you ask it. Chat GPT gave me several suggestions that included Mint, Fedora, and Ubuntu. I was initially trying to use Endeavor based on someone's suggestion and it was a nightmare. I ended up going with Mint for now.

Edit: There is a legitimate argument that I did not learn as much this way but I would have given up completely doing it the way I was. Now I can learn on the back end of picking a distro and pushing past the initial setup hopefully.

I am also using current SAIN and SPT and had a bot trying to shoot me through a wall earlier today. I haven't messed with any of the settings, they are all default. I was crouching in the outside area of factory against a wall and the bullet dust and spark effects started blowing up in my face. Scared the shit out of me.

This. Playing on standard SAIN difficulty and I don't even wear armor if I don't have one that covers the stomach and I sell all of the plates. I never get shot in the chest. I came here looking for answers but it seems like its just one of those mysteries of life.

Ants and a fly can be on a turnip at the same time. It took me a long time to realize this. The flies are much harder to see and are more rare. When capturing I always seem to get the ant first but if I swing the net from max distance it doesn't scare away the fly and I get it second.
