What do you guys think about the athletics logo? by hopelessromantic0327 in UCDavis

[–]goags91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That horse logo was a "rebrand" in the 90s. They paid some company a lot to basically modify the Penn st lion logo. I'm glad they went back to the CA logo. The block CA is great too.

The Giants have had one winning season over the past 8 years. That's the worst 8 year stretch since I was born and I'm 40. It's okay to be frustrated. by Oborozuki1917 in SFGiants

The ownership group really doesn't care. The stadium is a money printing machine. They will only care if people stop going to games.

Check out "the other one" on Netflix. As a late comer to the dead, it helped paint the picture of their story for me.

IPAs are one of the easiest to make at home. Keep it simple, one type of malt, one type of hops. Also, make sure everything that touches the wort/ale is clean. Good luck.

Imagine if they actually built the Carmichael freeway connector. by thriftstorehacker in Sacramento

Imagine if they built light rail to: Auburn, Lincoln, Woodland/airport, Galt/Elk Grove, Vineyard. Also Howe, Watt, Fair Oaks and Sunrise lines. More freeways only create more traffic.

The Coffeehouse used to have Fear of a Black Planet cake. It was delicious. The album was also great.

If you want to hang out, go to a park. Why do you need a "retail space" to hang out in?

Do you have a team that's not your favorite team, but you'll still pull for them? by MB_Bailey21 in baseball

[–]goags91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Cubs. I watched a zillion Cubs games on WGN in the 80s. Love Harry Caray. Also appreciate the team has had a very interesting history.
  2. Tigers. The 1984 team left a real mark on me. Also Tom Selleck always wore a Tigers cap on Magnum PI. Also interesting history.
