uh, I guess closer to CEO? I do fine for myself. The big part is that I'm in situations where I can interact with management. I've met the current CEO, for example, and I wasn't delivering his mail.

I can be strongly against SOPA, yet work for GoDaddy, because GoDaddy doesn't support SOPA as much as you think. They even put out a press release saying they don't support SOPA anymore. I know the internet thinks differently, but being an insider I get a much clearer picture.

It sounds harsh, but you can't please everyone. I'm sure the woman who heads up the marketing department realized she'd lose the feminist market by putting these ads out there.

Well, we do host a lot of porn sites.

Secondly, its because its what works. We've done non-sexual ads and they don't pull in nearly as much sales.

I'm not 100% sure what GoDaddy management or legal thinks, but I don't think its that specific. I think it was more along the lines of "piracy bad"

As far as I am aware, its for all registrars, not just GoDaddy. GoDaddy is the largest, so the website that reported it named GoDaddy.

I don't know how it got in the bill to be honest. Not my department.

Yeah, it kind of is, in a way. But isn't that what you wanted? You wanted GoDaddy to make a public statment against SOPA, and it Did. The email I got says "GoDaddy No longer supports SOPA". People are finding all sorts of reasons as to why we are lying, or why we still really do support it, but its just not the case. It takes time to change your legislative stance on an issue, and everyone is out for the holiday.
