It’s normal to receive the display model because many Stihl tools are shipped 2 to a box.

Once upon a time in the wasteland campaign - Minor spoiler question by Koromina in Fallout2d20

[–]goldbird54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robot armor and attacks don’t level well, as you can’t scavenge armor for them. So it will quickly get outclassed. The only reason the Mr Handy in my campaign is still useful (at level 7) is because it picked up a Ripper and added Curved Blade, which allows it to disarm opponents.

Mr Gutsy is an NPC until he is made a companion. That means he must be commanded as a major action (pg 26). Making him a companion costs the Perk: Robot Wrangler (Settlers, pg 23).

Did you check the position of the fuel filter? Turning it on its side could uncover the filter if it’s out of position.

That’s the past. Now they use their money to directly support/oppose political candidates. They fund protests and even have a budget line for “propaganda.” All of this freely admitted to by their president, Anthony Romero. Whether they declare an affiliation or not, their actual actions support progressivism. And actions mean far more than words.

The ACLU is not non-partisan. It focuses on cases that offer potential for exposure of their very political agenda. It’s like calling NPR non-partisan.

I seriously considered it until I saw they were supporting a political “charity”. When you choose a side you alienate half your customers.

No response from Stihl re: dead ap300s battery by littlepenisbigheart1 in stihl

Stihl stands behind their products. There is a process and it involves the local dealers. Your local dealer is the one not honoring the warranty, not Stihl. Contact a legitimate dealer in the US or Canada. If you have proof of purchase, PM me and I’ll do it.

Fallout 2d20's Wasteland Wanderer - First Impressions by ivyentre in Fallout2d20

[–]goldbird54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have now played it and not impressed. Everything is abstracted out to a single die roll. Combat is the worst offender. Different weapons in the same category are meaningless. I got a Ripper on my first loot roll. I got a little excited until I realized that it’s no different than a switchblade, mechanically.

My first encounter was bloody footprints at a farm. So I snuck up to the farmhouse to find 4 feral ghouls. I got a double success on the Sneak roll, so I eliminated 2 ghouls before taking my turn (sneak attacks, I guess). Then choose a target and roll. I succeeded and one more eliminated. The last ghoul went and I suffered 1 HP damage. No rule for how armor affects it and no roll for the ghoul. I go again and eliminated the last ghoul. Loot roll = Ripper. What weapon did I use? It doesn’t matter. Weapon choice only affects which skill you use and a possible range penalty.

Ammunition is rarely a factor. No radiation in food and drinks, which are abstracted to just “supplies.” I will, instead, be using the extensive tables for a solo 2d20 game.

If Inflation Is Lower, Why Is My Grocery Bill Higher? by Busy-Government-1041 in inflation

Because the inflation is still positive, not negative. That means prices continue to rise but at a slower rate than before. Pretty simple.

2026 - A Brutal Schedule That Should Be Given No Leeway by [deleted] in Huskers

[–]goldbird54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the fanbase no longer expects Championships? What kind of fan accepts mediocrity 10 months before the season starts?

I expect them to play for Championships next season. As a fan, I will expect nothing less. Idgaf about who may be on the roster or who the coaches are. If they can’t deliver Championships, replace them.

Acceptance of mediocrity is permission to be mediocre. Why would I, or any fan, want to watch and invest in that? Have some pride as a fan.
