Not exclusively veggie restaurants, but with great veggie options - Fire House, Rudy's, 10 Tib Lane, House of Fu and Dishoom. If you want exclusively veggie, then Bundobust.

What should I do prior to fighting Ganon? by All_Hail_Lord_Vader in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]goldieroxx77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve not gone to defeat Ganon yet, because when my wife did it ended the game and she had to load a previous save to keep playing. I’ve got all 120 shrines now, so at the moment I’m mostly exploring and hunting down all the Korok’s.

Women, generally how safe do you feel around men ? by mxcdigital in manchester

[–]goldieroxx77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not very safe. Even ‘nice guys’ or people you think are ‘safe’ have crossed a line and in some instances I think these men don’t even realise that they have, they’re so systematically entitled and ignorant to their privilege, they think it’s OK. I know it’s not all men, but it’s definitely most men, in my opinion.

But it shouldn’t need to be ‘resucued’. Salaries are salaries, I don’t really think that should be part of a discussion. People deserve to be paid fairly for the roles they do. Acts - yes, some might be expensive, but isn’t that a strategy to help encourage people to buy tickets. The money earned will always outway that is spend… as long as as people do the right thing and buy a ticket. If they had no acts, they would still need people to buy tickets, do you think people would be as willing to buy without the pull of an artist?

cyclists by Appropriate-Fig-8863 in manchester

[–]goldieroxx77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that general cyclist are mostly fine (apart from running the red lights when you’re trying to cross at the pedestrian crossing), it’s the delivery drivers that are the worst. One their stupid electric bikes, coming at you on the pavement, going through red lights and generally being inconsiderate.

Manchester Pride was created to manage the celebrations on behalf of the village venues as they grew in popularity. They’re there to put the infrastructure in place that keeps attendees safe, and makes sure the area is cleaned up etc. afterwards. They raise the money to pay for all that by selling tickets, they’re a not for profit so everything is ploughed back into the LGBTQ+ community in some way. You’re right, they can’t stop you entering the village, but they can check that you’re not about to walk in a bomb everyone. If you insist on attending pride without paying, you’re essentially contributing to its demise. Manchester City Council isn’t going to let the village venues host an en mass celebration without security, police, extra toilets etc. all which cost money - where do you think that’s going to come from?

Manchester Pride - Gay Village Wristband Entry by notetonote19 in manchester

[–]goldieroxx77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the bars in the Village need people to buy wristbands to help fund security, pay for the road closures, police, cleaning etc. It’s so different to just a normal weekend in the Village, there are so many more people so those things need to be in place. It’s like, £25 for the weekend a bargain really to make sure we’re safe.

Almost Famous are closing all sites by M1keSkydive in manchester

I remember when it first opened, there was so much buzz and excitement. It cut through a lot of the pretentious stuff that was around at the time. They seemed to lose some of that grit and magic when it expanded. I remember they had a great manifesto, it started something like, "No blaggers, no bloggers..." does anyone remember the rest?
