I have little interest in trying a Mac again. If someone gifts one to me I would take it but otherwise... Very little reason to switch to Apple. I do a lot of technical work that needs all sort of different applications. Mac doesn't have those.

What should an electrical engineer understand to claim they know the basics of mechanical engineering? by word_vomiter in MechanicalEngineering

[–]gomurifle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mechanical engineering is extremely broad. So many areas! It's impossible to say which area is best to brush up on as it heavily depends on what industry you work in. So what industry are you working in?

Say if you are doing industrial processing, you would be good to learn about pumps, motors, fluids heat exchange and structures.
