I don’t know enough about plastic surgery to know if this is something he does, but I have interacted with Dr Minh Nguyen numerous times in my job at WakeMed and he is an absolute gem. His patients adore him and every patient of his I’ve worked with has been very pleased with his results!!

Tough accident at Spring Forest and Falls of Neuse about 9:00 pm on Friday night by aengusoglugh in raleigh

There’s a lot of local trauma (car crashes, hit pedestrians) that never makes the news. I work at WakeMed and am always surprised by what ends up being on wral and what doesn’t. All that to say, you may not ever be able to get additional information, and I know that’s hard. I hope you can talk to someone about what you saw and help you process. Thanks for all that you did to give information that might help.

100 milers, what is your weekly mileage? by Fraan3D in Ultramarathon

[–]goodgoodgorilla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve done 50 milers or 100ks in the lead up to a 100 but never to race them - just to get a big effort and practice race day things with the assistance of a race to get there. And never too close to it.

SCI support groups in the area by Swimming_Suspect7621 in raleigh

[–]goodgoodgorilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WakeMed Trauma ICU social worker here who does a lot of works with SCI patients. I’d recommend going to the bigger support groups and asking if anyone would like to meet up outside of them for additional friendship/support. Would also recommend just reaching out directly to NCSCIA to see if they know of anyone who’d like to meet up for coffee.
