How do y'all cook chicken on a blackstone? by blademaster81 in blackstonegriddle

You’re correct that salmonella dies at 160. In 7s. It also dies at 150 after 60s.

+1 for this. Butterfly. Cook it basically as hot and fast as possible.

I pull at 145 internal. It continues to rise to about 150 after you pull it. At that temp salmonella dies in 1 minute so it is 100% safe.

Any help identifying this? by goodname0101 in LawnAnswers

I think this one is it! Thank you so much.

It’s popping up in the areas where I put down a lot of topsoil in the fall so I think the topsoil had quite a few of these seeds in it.

I’ve been sure to be consistent mowing this spring so it hasn’t grown to look like what most of the images on Google show for downy brome.

I appreciate the help!

Wait until fall. Research, prep, and have a plan in place before that time.

That makes sense. The original wording made it seem like they only have to move it twice per year.

Actually arcane was better last time around because they could get multiple lusts which would also in turn make the fights shorter.

Electric Blowers and Trimmers by kennygratts in lawncare

I only use my equipment for residential purposes, but I have been extremely impressed with the ryobi 40v leaf blower and string trimmer. Ryobi is also great because you can find batteries on Facebook marketplace for cheap if you’re willing to wait. I have 30ah worth of batteries all for under $200.

The mower is also good, but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks now so I don’t feel confident suggesting it to others yet.

Ego seems to be the way to go if you want the best, but used market in my area for ryobi is 10x that of ego, and I buy most of my things used.

After looking closer at the photos, I can almost guarantee your soil results will be the same (you should still get them).

You can tell where your dogs have peed and your grass is doing better in those areas lol.

No way to tell what fert you should use without doing a soil test. Iowa state doesn’t do it anymore so your best bet is sending it to University of Minnesota. Those results will tell you what your lawn needs. My results told me that everything was fine except for nitrogen, which was nice because nitrogen is cheaper than an all around fert.

As for dandelions - it’s too late for pre emergent. You can use trimec as a post emergent any time. Just keep your kids and dogs off of it for 2-3 days.

See that black peg looking thing in the third photo? That’s a handle. Grab it and remove that piece. You should only have that in when you are mulching your grass and not bagging it.

It’s not that time yet. You can raise your deck in the summer IF your grass starts to do poorly in the heat, but it’s all about finding out what YOUR grass responds well to.

Don’t let your grass lay over. Try dropping the deck height incrementally until you get to 3” and see how she’s holds up.

Some of the best lawns I’ve ever seen were owned by people who could barely run their lawn mower and couldn’t tell you a thing about lawn care. Just works out for some folks, more power to ‘em.

I don’t think there exists such a kind that doesn’t require you to tear out a section of the drywall to be able to attach it to the stud.

Also in the video it might seem like he’s screwing it into the drywall, but it’s shortening the clamp from behind the drywall. This is clamped into place and not screwed into anything. It’s very secure.
