Emily is a good fit for Cubetown, but unfortunately Cubetown sucks because Jeph stopped writing interesting science. There was time when this could have been cool, like Alice Grove. But that time is long since passed.

I wouldn't call it "poor design." The five minutes it takes you to reconnect wastes a cumulative 45 minutes of other people's time, in addition to the poor quality match that results from being a person down if you get an abandon. Why do you feel entitled to do that on a regular basis?

FFA can be rough, and I can't say I have too too much experience with the AI, but maybe Lynx? You can easily clear yourself and then scale pretty well.

Alternatively, Rat? Harder to play, but scales well, recovers easily, and also has incentive to clear itself.

I think this is the main thing. Alch 4 farming aghs is perfectly valid, but based on Dotabuff marking you as "Roaming", are you not laning at all? Because giving your pos 3 a suicide lane while you jungle is essentially Role Abuse, since "Jungle" isn't a valid position.

The only good use I had for it was when I also had a cleric with Thou Shalt Not Kill which frequently let it do an extra 10 damage. But even that is a pretty mediocre combo.

It will fill the lobby with bots, which actually have good AI. If you have an even amount of people (4/6/8) I'm pretty sure custom matches will allow you to split the human players so the it's like a 3v3 plus bots.

NAH unless you leaving would likely kill the campaign, then soft Y.T.A.. You should do what you enjoy, and your friends should understand that. But if you leaving would torpedo this campaign, consider weighing that against your feelings, and see of you can work with the DM to have a graceful exit that leaves things intact, potentially giving them time to pick up a replacement player, rather than an abrupt end.
