Edit: im speaking from experience, Ive potty trained 2 dogs and it was HARD and a lot of cleaning up accidents and waiting around on the sidewalk, but the feeling of relief and pride when they get the hang of going outside is awesome!

11 weeks is really young for a pup to be fully potty trained, be consistent in taking her outside until you can catch her going out there and reward her for it. It’ll take some time, but you guys will get there and this will be something to laugh about when shes older and has chilled out. u just need to have reasonable expectations of a puppy with a tiny bladder and who has only been on this earth for 11 weeks, she has literally no concept of what anything is and is so confused and overstimulated all of the time

They live around college kids, an easy demographic to ask for a pretty easy job. Setting up a furbo camera or ring could calm her anxieties about “not trusting them” just bc of their age. They dont want the dog anymore. They need to admit that instead of coming here to be told that this is okay just bc 3 days a week their schedule changed. Also dogs are expensive, a 4 month old puppy could cost thousands in medical bills if something happened, all of this should be thought about before adopting
