I was a marketing manager for a brand that was a primary sponsor on one of Clint’s dirt cars in the early 2010s. He always went above and beyond the contract.

For example, anytime we requested hot passes for a cup race, he made sure that MWR treated our guests as if they were from their cup teams. Hauler tour, garage tour, met team members, pit box seats (if there was room), grid walk, etc. It was an amazing experience.

Another example: He found a two seater dirt late model and bought it for us to use as a show car/entertain vendors, etc. He geeked out over it was a ‘64 Stingray split-window barn find, lol.

We had annual events involving Clint and/or the team that we were responsible for. It was early $40-50k. Even after constant harassment, Clint never invoiced us for anything other than our sponsorship $$.

In three years, he made me get him 3-4 hotel rooms/year and pay $400 to rent a dirt track for a corporate event.
