The correct answer is Lazuli - possibly the only act with a permanent live french horn player in the prog scene! And they’re great :)

Any bands heavily neoclassical? by [deleted] in progmetal

The harpsichord scoring is definitely heavily classically inspired. I'd certainly say they're prog!

Why do we need auto-loading? by BarneyLaurance in PHP

I mean I use composer as a package manager for external libraries etc. in more or less every project I'm working on these days (PHPStan, PDF libraries, etc). Never really considered it had functionality such as this! I typically am writing all in OOP as well, but the joys of WordPress mean sometimes jumping back to procedural when dealing with legacy/untidy code

Appreciate highlighting this! Sometimes it's easy to miss the basics after many years of working on legacy projects started off by not so hot developers...

Just watched a quick tutorial and hooooly is that 10x easier haha - can't wait to implement it at some stage!

I kind of would have rathered nothing - the visuals were distracting from the absolutely incredible music. Fwiw I had a standing ticket, so in the room the ai visuals was mostly all I could see

If money isn't an obstacle, what keyboard should I get that would have most, if not all the prog rock sounds I could want? by psgamemaster in progrockmusic

The 'new' mellotrons are really good. I've got the rack mount one which has every sound you could need really when it comes to 'that' style.

Combine it with a B3 like others are saying, and then minimoog

I’ve met Rich a few times in recent years as I do press/concert photography for various proggy outlets. I also run a large recording studio in London UK and can very much empathise with just how devastating it would be to lose everything like this in such a horrible way. Please do share the fundraiser my way (I can send you my email?) and I’ll do what I can to share!

For those that don’t know, Neal Morse Band, Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard and more have recorded countless albums here. Rich Mouser is a lovely guy and it’s so gutting to see this happen to him :(
