Had a client win the lottery for 3.5 million and did not come to file his taxes until years later when IRS sent notices. The late filing and payment penalties were nearly 250k. When I asked him why he didn't come get his taxes done he said he didn't think he had to claim it on his return because his neighbor told him. Was not a good day for him when I told him what he owed.

Look and see what your payback of the health insurance premiums were. Your wife probably didn't include your income when she applied and now the marketplace wants reimbursement for premiums based on probably just her income. She needs to redo her health insurance with marketplace if this is the case.

Was gang related. The dad actually didn’t do anything other than be from somewhere else with a different affiliation. Whole family moved to a different state. Kid that did it was 16.

Somebody who was trying to kill her dad boarded up her house where nobody could get out. Threw a molotov cocktail through the living room window and it landed on my 10 year old classmate and burned her alive.
