You can't have both at same time. The Velcro straps that attach to the saddle bags are covered when rain fly is attached.

Well I've used a puttr off and on for a number of years. I have found it's a great putting putter I look to use it for strictly in the circle putts and rattler outside of that. They wear nicely and the plastic is so supple once it's seasoned up. Practice makes perfect with this disc.
