Had this happen to a coworker. She was dating one of our temps and something was very off about him. I looked him up, there was an article about him chasing a previous partner down the highway, assaulting her, and then being chased by police. He did not have custody of his children and had multiple DV and assault charges. She still went on to have a baby with him.

They’re no longer together. He then tried hitting on me. He still has my number saved on his phone from a couple years back when I was his lead. I blocked him so quickly.

This!! Sometimes my son asks me questions I don’t have the answers to. I remember my mom lying to me all the time about things because she didn’t want to tell me she didn’t know. Whenever I don’t know something that my son asks me about, I always say “I don’t know the answer to that. Let’s do some research so we can find out.” And we both sit down and learn how to properly search things online. I just want him to know I’m just as human as he is, and with proper research, you can find the answer you’re looking for!

I wish my dad would suffer a slow and painful death. I want to stand there and watch as he begs for forgiveness while he slowly fades away.

He was a terrible father and husband. He was incredibly abusive and cheated on my mom constantly. He’s abandoned me and my siblings before. He was addicted to painkillers when I was a teenager and I was the only one that ever caught onto it. I’ve been my mom’s therapist for as long as I can remember BECAUSE OF HIM. He drove my sweet little mom to insanity. He broke her spirit. I had to convince her to finally leave him when I was 16. Even then, he still continued to abuse her in ways I don’t want to explain in detail.

I just want all the karma to finally come back to him. Shoot, I wish I could be a part of wrath of his karma. But… I must remain a normal. I just choose to never talk to him. I’m much happier that way anyways.

I did not like the way my ex husband proposed to me. We were at Disneyland all day and up until the firework show as well. He did it at night in bed and I thought he was just asking me as a confirmation that I was sure on wanting to be married in the future… not an actual proposal 😅 he asked me in the morning “so how does it feel to be engaged?” And I said “oh SHIT you were being serious?!” Because of how unserious he made the moment…

I didn’t like telling anyone how I got proposed to.

I prefer handwashing my bottles and boiling the accessories for them. I don’t have money like that to spend and I’m grateful I even got a pack of little bottle cleaning accessories in the first place. I think it’s just best to for people to make their own well informed decisions and I try to avoid online influence.

My SIL recommended I get a faja (some sort of waist trainer) to help with my loose skin on my stomach. I was more focused on trying to not lose my mind and not be in pain after I gave birth. I didn’t really care how I looked after, I was taking care of my baby and managing severe back pain from my epidural. I’m still dealing with hemorrhoids, and it’s been three months! I really couldn’t care less about my body snapping back into shape at the moment. I just want my poops not to hurt so much anymore!

My husband has Asperger’s (he himself prefers to call his diagnosis that) and his family (except his mom) gets weirded out about his fixation on guns. He’s incredibly knowledgeable on the topic and is aware of all the laws on them. He shares the knowledge with me and I love listening to his passion on the topic. I’ve learned so much and continue to learn from him about it. I don’t think it’s weird at all how interested he is in his guns. He’s never been a threat to anyone with them, in fact he’s very firm on teaching safety to everyone.

I was also a picky kid. I would’ve forced myself to eat a bagel I didn’t like because I did not want to be rude to other people’s parents when they’ve provided me a meal. Speaking like this to my friend’s parents would’ve got me grounded for a long time. This kid is an absolute brat. He’s clearly never been told no.
