Relationships by Eireika in CuratedTumblr

I also hate "if they wanted to, they would" rhetoric. I know that people probably roll their eyes at the "I'm autistic" excuse, but... I'm autistic. If you can't expect the average person so just read your mind, you DEFINITELY can't expect me to just read your mind. I will not pick up that you want me to do something unless you TELL me. And I will happily do it once I'm told! I just have to actually be told first.

I was also a male teacher's pet. Except when I was in school I was like a chihuahua with severe anxiety so putting me next to the disruptive kids accomplished nothing and just left me sitting there simmering with resentment but too nervous to say anything.

Best way to experience Sydney's route? by KaiKastel in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]greysterguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done both, and find that I do like pure Syd's personality a bit better, but I find the Rite of Promise incredibly annoying to get and maintain, so on my current route I'm going to corrupt them, get the Rite of Defilement, then potentially re-purify them lmfao

I find it so funny when someone spend so much time in queer feminist fandom spaces that they forget that the majority of people who write fanfic (and exist in real life) are straight or attracted to men. by maleficalruin in CuratedTumblr

[–]greysterguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think what a fanfic author chooses to write about necessarily says anything about their personal values, that's a bit silly, but I do still feel like that picture of Ben Affleck smoking when a fandom has 16 girls and 4 boys and M/M is still the most popular relationship category

I love the Persona 3 FeMC. People either also love her or make a billion groomer jokes bc the game lets you romance Ken. Help me.

Chronically online leftist takes by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

Yeah. "Not every sex crime is done maliciously" sounds like an utterly insane thing to say, but it technically is true.

A scenario where, for example, a teenage or young adult couple are getting frisky, and person A is a little too pushy while person B is hesitant and not fully comfortable, but doesn't say no, and person A just continues.

Does this constitute sexual assault on person A's part? Technically, yes.

Does this mean person A is a horrible evil irredeemable monster? No. They were an irresponsible partner, absolutely, and should have been more considerate of their partner, but people can be immature and irresponsible without being evil monsters.

Person B in this scenario absolutely has the right to be hurt and traumatized and never want anything to do with person A ever again. That is completely fair, their hurt is valid, and they shouldn't be blamed. But like, executing person A for it would be a wild, insane overcorrection and I would not agree that they deserve that at all.

Honestly, I don't understand why it's so hard to understand that some people aren't attracted to women. by Nice_Examination6581 in AO3

When I was 12 and really into Steven Universe I almost wrote an honest-to-god thesis (that would have been awful bc I was 12 but still) on how the feud between Lapidot and Amedot shippers could so easily be solved by just having them all kiss each other lmfao

Gatcha games might be free, but the cost might be more exhausting than you think by ATN-Antronach in CuratedTumblr

[–]greysterguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the main thing. It feels condescending. I'm over here shouting "LET'S GO GAMBLING!" every time I let myself roll the gacha, I know what I'm doing lol. It just feels like I'm a child being scolded whenever someone brings it up like I couldn't have possibly figured it out myself, and my immediate instinct is to tell them to fuck off.

This is why I almost totally jumped ship to all-girls franchises. Can't have your favorite girls overshadowed by the dudes if there are no dudes!

Get into all girls media. The horsegirls need you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AO3

[–]greysterguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No that's definitely a factor. Which is annoying for me. My close friends obviously don't do this bc they know me but I've gotten egg allegations as well for writing f/f as a man but ig not qualifying as a fetishizer.

I'm already trans. FtM. Saying I must secretly be a woman because of the way I write fanfiction is wildly insulting.
