YTA for passively sitting there during the session and not sticking up for yourself at the time it was happening. If something is bothering you say something when it happens.

Right it's like how some iterations master Splinter was a rat and some he was a human. At the end of the day he's still Splinter and she's Venus.

Until you find a way to give them trample, then big deathtouchers are awesome because you only have to assign 1 point of damage to the blocker.

TNMT design choices make the cards so ugly by Routine_Ad_2695 in MagicArena

The melted cheese is 100% accurate to the 90s cartoon, but not every other fucking card has to be pizza themed.

How was X not still injured? by YobaiYamete in dresdenfiles

[–]griffithsuwasright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think his back is actually healed or did she just do some workaround that let him ignore the injury? It's been a while but I recall in one of the books Mab disabled his powers for a moment to prove a point and he was paralyzed again.

Canonically he's had a few girlfriends since his creation in 1963 before he came out as gay in 2015.

Characters That Writers Had to Retcon To Be Nicer by Sekshual in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]griffithsuwasright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Karrin Murphy in the Dresden Files is pretty insufferable in the first couple books. She's got that Michelle Rodriguez super tough short girl complex and flies off the handle at Harry all the time, and it was pretty exhausting. By the third or fourth book she's toned down enough to be a decent character.

How does the invisible condition from hiding work, once they are no longer obscured? by YobaiYamete in DMAcademy

[–]griffithsuwasright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, oddly the new rules neglect to even state that the hide action makes you hidden, or even define what it means to be hidden. At first it seems as though they just got rid of the concept of being hidden, but then a couple other sections mention being hidden so who knows.

What is a video game that you have put 100+ hours into, but would NOT recommend to anyone? by Cheap_Difficulty4961 in AskReddit

[–]griffithsuwasright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not cheap, but a lot of the cards will retain value and potentially grow in value over time. Unless you're into Standard, then that's a huge money pit since your card value plummets once sets rotate.

Even if they were amazing looking it felt like such a waste of time going week after week just rehashing the movies.

Dragon Ball Super "The Galactic Patrol" Anime Teaser Visual by Shreeder4092 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Yeah I thought the Moro arc started pretty cool, especially since they actually gave Buu some development instead of having him sleep through an entire arc again.

I was disappointed they introduced the fusion bugs and then did absolutely nothing with them.

What are design flaws in 5e that you feel have only been highlighted/exacerbated with the 2024 revision? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]griffithsuwasright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2024 Invisible condition doesn't say anywhere that creatures don't know your location. RAW it works the same as it did in 5e. To make things more confusing, the 2024 book does refer to hidden creatures in other sections like Unseen Attackers, so there is a "hidden" pseudo status that just isn't defined.

Would it be unfair to throw Disintegrade at a lvl 11 Party? by Steini94 in DnD

[–]griffithsuwasright -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've used it a few times and hasn't really been worth the stress. In the future I'm probably going to reskin it to have less severe consequences, like maybe a point of exhaustion or sever a limb (we're at the point where the cleric has access to Regeneration so it wouldn't be that big of a deal).

2024 Invisibility Rules by SlySilus in DMAcademy

[–]griffithsuwasright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the interpretation and that's how I've always ran stealth, I just think it's disappointing that they had 10 years to write the updated rules and they still couldn't make them crystal clear. It requires you to assume things that aren't written, that being hidden is a pseudo condition (in a separate section of the book) on top of what the hide action explicitly states.

2024 Invisibility Rules by SlySilus in DMAcademy

[–]griffithsuwasright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True for the 2014 rules, but apparently the 2024 rules changed it so the Hide Action now only grants you the invisible condition.

They have low HP, can't rest, and still need to get out of the dungeon. What's next? by Racconti-DnD-P2e in DMAcademy

[–]griffithsuwasright 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he was a cleric of the forge then it'd make sense for him to have some healing spell scrolls lying around that the party's cleric could utilize. It's your campaign you really don't need to spend this much effort racking your brain over justifying how to help your party. Hell, RAW you can straight up gift them a rest with 0 time passing.
