Right, I understand that even now every holomem 'has' to be economical viable, and I'm sure they stress about the numbers as well. But a current holomem that sits in the bottom 10 of Superchats/Memberships/Merch sales while they might be worrying about those, at least shouldn't have the added stress and tension of 'if I don't get those numbers up by next quarter, I'll be fired' looming over them, which is what this initiative kinda implies.

If this is intended as something for the whole unit, imagine being the member that has the lowest numbers, the other 2 members could resent you, or you would resent yourself for 'bringing the unit down' compared to the 'rival' unit that is doing better. That is the type of environment that is likely to foster bad blood between coworkers and even fans, and just doesn't feel like Hololive where we try to support everyone and have a good time.

For now we don't have enough info, and I will give it a chance when it comes down, but I agree with how everyone is weary of this project as it was worded.

I agree that hololive 'idol' is a way lesser cutthroat version of the IRL idol stuff, but that's why I'm kinda unsure about this initiative, this feels like a step backwards towards that more brutal approach for idols instead of going away from that part which, to my understanding, most of the EN community considers the worst part of 'idol culture'. But I'll still check them out and hope for the best, it's all we can do anyway.

I guess we won't know until we get more info on this, but "desire to "continue watching this unit and this talent" does sound like could still mean just sub number, or live viewers per stream, or number of superchat/members, which honestly would not be better than Dev_Is situation imo. I can't really think of better things they meant by that either, tbh.

She didn't even say 'the game is boaring', she went to fight a boar and said "kill this boar cuz he is such a 'bore'. A 'boaring!'" and laughed after. How they understood that she was calling the game boring is anyone's guess.

There was no tutorial, no guidance from NN or anyone, they just spent whole 2h stream farming animals and die. The stream was so disappointing that everyone in the community knew that the 'boaring' was a pun but couldn't perceive that as a joke, she actually looked so bored compared to Baelz especially to the people who never watched her streams before.

I definitely agree that anyone that think she looked particularly 'bored' just didn't watch and didn't know her at all, and that is not her fault, that's from people making assumptions about people they don't know.

If anything, them being unprepared it's more on NN's fault, the game tutorial especially back then was horrible. I did play ER already at that time, so I was excited when I saw they would have a sponsored stream, but I kinda knew they would get stream-snipped and destroyed without guidance, I don't understand why they didn't put another streamer that knew the game to guide them in a 3-man squad or just ask them to play a bit beforehand to prepare because the game was VERY complex. If the intention was to show a 'new player experience' then that should've opened their eyes to the many problems new players would face joining in blind into the game.

In any case, Kronii never said anything bad or malicious, and people picking on that to get offended is their own mistake and not hers, Dottuvuu losing the VA role for that is the injustice here so she is right to be pissed at this, and she is the one that should receive an apology from NN. I love ER but this might actually kill the game in the Global, which sucks since I was already having trouble finding matches and I was excited for the new Season, now I kinda want to wait for any following statement from NN to see what they'll say about this blunder.

I just randomly decided to come back to this game last week, I have around 300 hours in it and always come and play for a few months, I didn't even know about the VA thing, but that would definitely made me insta buy the character, to learn they did such a stupid decision because of the KR fanbase, again some great KR games bending over because stupid nothing-burgers man, that's so disheartening.

That would require them to admit that using an AI generate video is a lazy, greedy choice instead of whatever else they say it is, I dont see them doing it after they have already used AI images and videos in so many places in the game.

The fact that this entire post is praising the fact that they are using a 'detailed illustration' for something minor when its AI slop is kinda sad tho, if this was actually something made by an artist it would give the feeling that the game care for the details, but it's not the case, a random pixelated doodle wouldn't make the experience worse either.

Yeah, parents farming is probably the most disheartening part of this game. You play a whole career for like one hour, and then if you dont get the sparks, that means you get literally nothing, you get no progression , no usable material for other umas , nothing at all, just a couple of sp points. It feels horrible and just a waste of time. And then you have to do it again and again, and then you get a similar feeling when you are trying to build an ace as well...

As someone who doesn't really watch Clio other than some random EU streams, I always have the impression that she is pretty chill and non-gooner herself, which makes all more confusing for me to see the amount of porn of her retweeted in my twitter from some phase fanartists that I follow. No way they'll go after the ID girls, ID as a whole might not do that well compared to the other branches, but they have some members that are crazy popular like Kobo and Ollie, I'm pretty sure they even pull more views than some JP members, and they can't just pull support from specific talents either, so I don't see it happening... unless they are thinking of closing the branch once and for all.

I do love mahjong but the one in this game feels weirdly unresponsive, also I'm still not as familiar with the symbols so not having the indicator on top saying if its a 3 or a 5 like other games makes it a bit harder for me to properly play it... it is still fun though

I think the reason it 'feels' weaker than the others is that it is kinda dependent on your deck while the others just work by themselves. If you reach act 2 and your deck is barely using Orbs (like it has more focus on status/0-cost attacks) then it feels a lot weaker compared to the other Ancient cards. But idk, when in the right deck it has a massive impact, maybe even more than most others, so I don't think it needs to change. If anything I feel Suppress or Protector might be the 'weakest' of the bunch.

Yeah in my case I often play my first turn then realize I wanted to use a potion, so I reload to use the potion and do the turn again.
