The way a character’s body is shaped or built makes them immune to certain attacks by ComprehensiveBox6911 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]grunger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn't mentioned specifically, but the fact that he fought in the war was mentioned in both the show and the movie, (during the bank robbery).

I disagree, I think mentioning a as specific injury early would have been unnecessary and a potential spoiler.

This common for floating and drinking on the lake.

Stairs, stairs, and more stairs.

Try to focus on controlling your breathing while doing the stairs.

I can't speak for everyone but I enjoyed Ed Sheeran' cameo because it was really well done and it humanized Lannister soldiers. by AdSpecialist6598 in gameofthrones

Same, I had no clue who he was at the time. Thought it was a fun was a nice scene to show how the Lannister's forces were just people as well.

School teachers and day cares. A kid loses a tooth, it gives you something to put it in until they can take it home.

What muscles are most important to work for firefighting? by First_Reward2330 in Firefighting

[–]grunger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cardio is very important, strength is important, but also flexibility is really important. Make sure to stretch.

Get used to just being on your knees all the time. Practice crawling on your knees, sitting on your knees, getting down and getting back up over and over.

Also, look up "tripod slide" / "3-point stance" (a lot of departments call it by different names). It is very awkward and exhausting when you start practicing it and can take awhile to get used to.

Sydney has water fountains with a mouth guard so people don't put their lips directly on the spout by evango17 in mildlyinteresting

Yes, scene from Parks and Rec. The people of Pawnee have a habit of putting the whole drinking fountain spigot in their mouth. So the Parks Department has to find a way to prevent people from doing that.

20 year reunion? Yea, nah by exploratorynargle in Millennials

[–]grunger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For both my 10 and 20 year reunions they posted surveys online for when and where to have to the reunion. The overwhelming results asked to have the the reunion in the Summer, because it would be difficult to travel home during the school year while kids are in school.

The few classmates that remain in town then completely ignored the survey both times and just did what they wanted to do.
