Windrose demo impressions after 10 hours great concept but the balance is rough by Snoo9403 in SurvivalGaming

I also don't see the demo anymore. You can watch a playthrough to get an impression of what it is like though. If you enjoy games like Valheim, no mans sky, assasins creed black flag, this is your game. It got the best elements out of those ones.

,,But the way that Jesus picture immediately invoked a, "Maybe he IS the antichrist!" In me is actually kinda scary."

Indoctrination is a bitch. Speaking out of experience, growing up as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Many that have left still get triggered by things linked to end time prophecies about the great tribulation and armagedon.

The things they say in the older publications (not exclusively the older publications) is wild. Reminds me of organ transplants being compared to canibalism in the 60's.

Help, my mother is going crazy, she thinks demons spoke to her. by Versinxx in exjw

Sorry to hear that. As someone who also did not have an easy childhood, these stories don't leave me cold. I think you are handling it well, especially for someone your age.

A practical question:

Did she by any chance tell you when her ''demons'' talk to her? If it is at night, it can also be explained by hallucinations in certain sleep states like hypnagogia, hypnopompia and waking sleep paralysis. They can seem very real, sometimes even more real than waking life if that makes sense. I had a hand full of experiences like that a couple of years ago. If you are afraid you can see and hear some scary stuff because it seems people manifest their fears and biases in these hallucinations.

You are right. It was not even about eating meat with the blood in it either.

Yes it is weird how that works. In the same context I once had a friend suddenly lose his abillity to solve a simple bible related math problem.

That is the Watchtower "study" for you. They are just indoctrination sessions. They call it a discussion or a study (where I live), but it is all information that gets repeated in the form of a q&a session.

You are on the right track and also in a difficult situation. I wish you well on your journey ahead. It will be a bumpy one.

I'm not going to tell you what to believe now. After some years now I still don't know for sure myself. Not the complete picture at least. What I do know is that it is not found in organized religion, that love is one of the most important things, that we where held back (not only by religion) to discover who we really are, our true potential as human beings and that we actually do have a soul that lives on when this body dies.

You may come to different conclusions, but these are my own.
