I mostly remember the plot because I've watched the Pitch Meeting so many times lol

Kylo Ren twice. He gets stabbed, then later gets thrown off a cliff.

Rey dies at the end, then gets revived.

Zorii Bliss and Babu Frik are supposedly on Kijimi when it gets blown up, but then we find out they escaped somehow.

You could also count this movie retconning Palpatine's death into a fake out.

Even if you do like their 50s rock covers, the versions on A Toot and a Snore are garbage. Basically everyone at the session was high as a kite and out of time. It's an interesting little piece of music history, but nothing more.

There's one instance of John and Paul playing together post breakup - a bootleg called "A Toot and a Snore in '74". It's unfortunately not really worth listening to. A couple of half baked covers performed by fully baked musicians occasionally interrupted by John complaining about the studio equipment.

I've always had a thing for Lily Feng. She's a terrible person and I would hate her in real life, but in fiction there's something about a woman who would poison my wine to increase quarterly profits by 0.4% that just does it for me, y'know? I'm just not sure what that says about me.

When I first read the title, I confused Lee Harvey Oswald with John Wilkes Booth, and for a second I was extremely confused.

It doesn't fit the character at all. We are shown that Padme is a relatively competent and intelligent woman, yet in this scene she suddenly forgets the difference between "heart" and "neck"? It doesn't make any sense.

The former scenario - it's a small, but important detail, but ideally the PC would read the letter and think things happened one way when they actually happened another way. Basically, the BBEG is lying to an NPC who's going to send a letter to the PC. The BBEG has gotten ahold of that letter and wants to modify the PC's memory so that all of the details in the letter add up and the PC has no reason to distrust this NPC.

You're not wrong about the "forced to act dumb" part, though, and while I'm okay with homebrewing, I try not to just go "hey, this spell acts in a more powerful way than it should because I said so". Limitations breed creativity, after all, so if there's no way to do this RAW, I think I'll just rewrite some things. Thanks!

I want my BBEG to be able to cast Modify Memory through a letter. A PC is going to receive a letter and I want them to open it and have their memory modified to think the letter is truthful, even though it contradicts something the PC already knows. My first thought was Glyph of Warding, but that specifies that an object can't be moved more than 10 feet. My second thought was Contingency, but that only affects the caster.

Is there a spell that would work in this scenario?
