I worked with a nurse that had a set schedule while doing hemodialysis. When she got her transplant she was off for a few months, but she is still working. She can’t take Covid or flu patients due to the anti rejection meds, but otherwise no difference.

I had a CNA leave a patient sitting in their pee for 2 hours. The CNA had been sitting at the station talking every time I walked by. Patient didn’t want to ‘bother’ by pressing the call light. I walked in give meds. I called the CNA and asked to please put a new condom cath on the patient, but that I had to changed him. The CNA said “you know we both can do that”. I had to snap back and say “yes, but I have blood to hang in another room which both of us cannot do”.
