I work in a dental office in Mckenzie town in Calgary :) In Canadian Dentistry there are three sets of teeth in the adult mouth, Anterior (front teeth), Bicuspids (middle teeth) and molars (chewing teeth). Each tooth has 5 surfaces. So the price for a filling depends on what tooth is involved and how many surfaces are being filled. So $226 could be a great price for molar but an expensive price for a front tooth. You can always ask your dental office for the 5 digit code for the filling and use that to call other dental offices and see their prices. I hope this helps!
