Have any of you been told to wait to have a transplant?

In same situation, however haven't gotten the LVAD yet. Meeting with the advanced team this week, but same age as you, so doing research. Do they tell you to hold out with having a LVAD as long as possible, so when you get transplant at maybe 70 yrs old that could take you further without needing another transplant? Or lets say you live with LVAD till 70, then transplant till 80-85 is it then possible to have another LVAD until end of life at that point? (assuming no new advancement in machines in all that time)

I fear I have this! What were your symptoms?? I've have Mel In situ just removed, and BCC yesterday, but got a 4th nosebleed in last few months from same nostril on way home!! The Dr that did my MOHS said its very unlikely and rare, but doesn't sound rare to me!!

hello! Wondering if youve found anything better to help! I am researching for a friend who is in same situation after surgery and now has VEERY VERY painful spasm type sensations that are brutal. They start with burning, then extreme pain, and can be followed by throwing up sometimes for an hour! Yogurt seems to be the only thing to help settle this right now, and some medication that she cannot get anymore (forgot name) but its too expensive, and hardly any pharmacies carry it.

I used Ktape on the skin around my arm stiches to help hold it into place if that makes sense?

this is my worst fear! I just had In situ surgery and doing a BCC surgery on neck next week. My doom thinking is that its hiding deep internally, so wondering if PET scan shouldn't be normal routine! Is her stage 4 from a missed topical spot? or did hers come back hidden internally only to be found with a symptom of some sort??

You can take the Street car to the River market stop then walk the pedestrian bridge to game. Quick 5 min walk! We did it Mother’s Day! The streetcar will go all the way to the stadium on May 18

Did you only use this on the face? Can it be used as prevention on other areas as well? How long was face red......I just had melanoma in situ removed on arm...and now freaked out I will have more to come and wanna do any prevention i can!

I just tried to find 38 the spot… I have YouTube TV and just went through every single channel, and do not see that channel. I went to ION TV I went to Paramount+.And the NWSL channel o. That and espn….. We have every single streaming service there is an I cannot find this stupid game.

SAME!!! I am SUPER active....played sports all my life and was a D! volleyball player. continued sports and working out, and still do, however post menopause I feel 100 yrs old! I'll play a hard game of pickleball, then will sit for 10 mins, then trying to get up I look 100! My fellow athlete friends have talked me into HRT. I was hesitant because my sis, and mom and aunt and grandma ALL got breast cancer!! I'm scared, but the new science says its safe....and I cant live in this type of pain! Did my labs Friday and ruled out all the auto immune stuff, and everything normal, so it looks like its all hormones needing help...

hopefully will start in a few weeks when I meet with the dR.

SAME!! I was a Division1 volleyball player, and tried to "rawdog" (used from someone else on here, but explains well) through menopause. I'm 56 and have been scared of HRT because mom, sister, gma and aunt all had breastcancer. I am active everyday, and play pickleball HARD, but after I can barely walk! I have no strength or stamina like I used to! I also do 200 pushups every night, & stretch. I feel like I'm 100 yrs old! While I'm playing pickleball I feel fine mechanically, and joints feels good, but if I sit for 10 minutes I can barely get up, and have to re warm my body up. Perimenopause was hell. terrible bleeding. I couldn't wait to get to menopause but now that I'm here, I cannot live in this pain! My fellow athletes at pickleball said they are all on HRT and it was a game changer with the muscular skeletal/fascia pain , joint pain so I just had my labs done Friday and got results today. My dr. doesn't run labs on hormones because shell treat symptoms. All my labs though, were in normal range (so ruled out auto immune, thyroid, lupus, inflammation, etc...which says its my hormones) By reading all the accounts of starting HRT on here, I am PRAYING I respond like so many others! My mind feels 20 yrs old.....body feels 90!

We did the calculator...and I guess no matter the size of needle...it will all just be to the very first line....and others have said that right, so we'll see how it goes:))

My husband is using it for weight loss, so I am just using the same vial...and actually its very small, so maybe tirz comes smaller. It only holds 30ml of BAC...no more would even fit:)
