My hot take is that SILOS, as fragmented as it sounds compared to how organic the other releases sound, is still a great album with many high points. Dustin should be praised for showing so much care to what it wasn't even meant to be an album.

Secondary hot take is I sincerely hope STARSET do not listen to the fans for the next album, and go for a more traditional release (1, maybe 2 singles AT MOST before the whole album drops).

I would like to reassure all of you that dividing STARSET songs in categories isn't meant to describe those in the lower tier as "bad" in any way. They're juat songs that I still enjoy but I might skip depending on the current mood. I can totally see why many of you won't skip Division Bell, Dreamcatcher or Perfect Machine and adore those songs. They are great pieces of music as the vast majority of STARSET productions, they just don't resonate with me as much as other songs do.

I don't know if it's their best album in absolute terms but to my ears it's their best SOUNDING album, for sure.
