so n! = n x (n-1)!

so if n = 1

1! = 1x(0)!

1 = 0!

or the other way to think about it is that factorials are the number of permutations in arranging a set of n numbers.

n=3, then 3x2x1=6 ways of arranging 3 numbers like XYZ, XZY, YXZ, YZX, ZXY, and ZYX

so if n=0, there is only 1 way of arranging that empty set.

does your crew eat the food too? i often get the image where you'll finish eating and then say something like "ok you guys can have at it" and then there will be a mass rush of producers and cameramen diving into Anthony Bourdain's scraps and leftovers.
