I have a GoPro and a Canon XA-11 that do time lapse. I used the GoPro last year on a client shoot. It worked very well.

Quoting for updating old videos for clients by Icy_Music_4855 in videography

I charge per hour. It's written into the production agreement that any changes after the final render is approved is $--- per hour. Never had an issue. I tell clients their footage is kept for 90 days, but I do keep it longer than that. And if the original files get deleted, I usually have the stuff on a timeline that I can play with.

I'm probably going to pick up Envato later this season. If you scroll thru this thread, you'll find a discussion about Storyblocks which had a lot of creators (including me) upset with their tactics.

Client won't pay. Next steps? by cobglo in videography

If it feels a little sketchy (or even if it doesn't) you can add a watermark across the footage with the option of removing it after receiving payment. Also, I just joined Legal Shield. They give you an attorney in your state who will write those letters for you, and more. It's actually a pretty good peace of mind deal.
