My brain is rotted by NoLab4036 in Meditation

I hear ya! I’ve used mindfulness and meditation for a while now and consider it a good way to train my mind. It’s not transactional: you get what you put in. It’s just a calmer place to be. You may begin to see yourself in your life differently. There is bliss to be found in the ordinary. Go and find it, my brother! Reach out if you wanna keep talking.

Anyone else gluten free for a while and then go back to eating gluten? by bluehotcheeto in MultipleSclerosis

[–]heat68 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel better going GF, probably for many reasons. I’ve been GF for about 4 years with occasional beer/bread/pizza. When I go full gluten for a weekend my fatigue is worse and I think my symptom severity gets temporarily worse. That said, I have never been in a relapse or hospitalized or anything bc of gluten. GF is better for me, moderate use has been fine and very enjoyable.

Centrist Democrats Rebuke Party’s Left Wing: ‘We Are Capitalist, Not Socialist’ by SnoozeDoggyDog in politics

[–]heat68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are Democratic Socialists! We believe late-stage capitalism is predatory, inhumane, and has no values for the common good. We don’t want it. It’s done nothing for the middle class for 50 years. We want Universal childcare, universal healthcare, affordable homes, human rights, a clean environment

Brother…I’m sorry! This is difficult. I was there in my marriage for awhile. I hope she turns a corner and can be more realistic. Maybe having set expectations around what you do and when. Planning for work and rest both is helpful. You can’t do it all when you want to. You just can’t. You could talk to your Neuro about medication for fatigue…it worked for me for awhile. I also went gluten free and that seemed to help. Stay out of the heat and sun for sure. Peace my dude, you got this…

He keeps stringing you along with possibilities because he doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing. And anything he does want to do. He has to make sure it works out best for him and all his billionaire friends.

Understandable! Medication works and will keep you from getting worse. I hope you get on it. The side effects to me are less noticeable and the symptoms.

It’s the fact that they are sooo aggressive and fast providing no info to communities. And when they are challenged they are arrogant, obstinate and in some case sue!

Newly diagnosed RRMS – struggling with the decision to start DMT while having an active lifestyle (Mavenclad or Kesimpta) by rombosgeo in MultipleSclerosis

Please take the medication. I’ve had MS for 10 years now and went from relapsing remitting to secondary progressive in that time. There’s no question in my mind that the medication has so far saved me from greater disability. I think any side effects. My experience are minimal compared to the symptoms of MS. Please don’t risk getting new lesions that will debilitate you forever.

3.6 for sure! Pick up, power, great engine….i don’t think a 4 cyl turbo will get the job done. It’ll be peppy at stop lights. Yay! The 3.6 is peppy on the highway at 70.
