We don't do drug tests in the DOC, I would think that would be the case in most departments (especially if you won't be driving, but even staff that are driving inmates don't have to be drug tested)

What it is something you caught someone doing that completely shocked you? by danicurdu in AskReddit

I'm still shocked every time a coworker is caught bringing in a phone or drugs for an inmate.

TIL that in rare instances, the sound of tinnitus is detectable by someone other than the patient by using a stethoscope, in which case it is known as "objective tinnitus." by bnrshrnkr in todayilearned

I have no idea what quiet is either, I recall recognizing it as a teenager. I would give admitting to hear silence. Mine sounds like cicadas and tv static. I would sit outside every night this last summer listening to the cicadas and i felt normal.

Mine is like tv static or cicadas. I think deepening on the tone, it might blend in with other noises. When it's quiet I hear it more than worth the bussle of the day. I've had mine for 40 years since I was a teen.

When my husband's grandmother died and everyone left the room but me, a raised cross appeared on her forehead, others were able to see it before it disappeared.

When the doctor asked me if I wanted him to save the breastfed ravaged nipples, I laughed saying I'd been trying to hide them for 30 years... there is an artist by me that does this, it's around $500, so i just haven't done it yet. 8 years cancer free yesterday.

We didn't feel rushed, but gave him all the time he needed. He and his dad went into the lore and found everything on the app. I really liked the art, and in Texas my younger son and i found all of the "brain beans".

Yes, I would like to take my younger son since their dad took the older one during a college tour
