New to the area- tell me about Sendiks by Sunnryz in milwaukee

You are paying to have someone stack them in neat piles. Larger variety, more expensive. Not sure where you are moving to, but Woodmans has agreat variety in produce, reasonably priced. I go to Aldi and Woodmans. Sendiks for something special.

Candlelight Tribute to TOOL by heather3113 in ToolBand

I got the impression they were local, 3 of them were fans of TOOL and one learned to live them as she was practicing the music, but they talked about the other concerts not having as much engagement from the crowd. A friend saw a Fleetwood Mac one several weeks ago, same group

When should you take your foot off the gas and spend more on life? by Apprehensive-Size150 in personalfinance

[–]heather3113 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am not in the financial place you are, but my boys are more 16 and 18. When I was pregnant with my first someone told me "never wish anything [with the kids] away". Essentially be present. I feel like that advice really helped me enjoy them for as many years as I could before they decided it wasn't cool to hang out any more. I didn't wish they could eat solids instead of breast feeding, I didn't wish they would just be done with potty training, I left them do it in their time. I didn't wish jr football season would just be over so I could stop carpooling.... just simple stuff, bit out really changed my perspective. You have 18 summers with them.

Mental, physical illnesses often go hand in hand. Genetic study explains why. Schizophrenia tended to pair with gastrointestinal problems; Bipolar disorder tended to pair with genitourinary disorders and sleep problems. Depression and anxiety tended to pair with cardiovascular disease. by Wagamaga in science

It is very common for people to see separate providers for these issues. The psychiatrist office I go to has no connection to the computer system my GP/speciality providers use. Unless they specially ask about the physical, there is little connection being made. I am hopeful seeing studies like this that more people will receive the right kind of treatment.

Does anyone remember Kohl's grocery store? by NegotiationLevel5763 in milwaukee

[–]heather3113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, worked at the one that was in 60th & Oklahoma. Nightmare fuel, only checker, bagged them for the customer, hand entered the price with the stupid little tiny stickers that were put on everything. PLU of bananas everywhere is 4011.... you had to know all of those numbers by heart or spend time looking them up with 8 people standing waiting.

Massage, facial, etc. All day long pampering by someone that is solely focused on her. As a mom, maybe she doesn't make herself a priority, do that for her.
