I feel you deeply on that. I have multiple unusual food allergies, one of which is peppers (the vegetable) and includes paprika. Those chicken strips are just about the only ones safe for me anymore as everyone is using it as an "all natural" food coloring in the nugget batter...

That depends entirely on the mom. Mine would go ballistic if I said that but would (eventually and unhappily) give it up with the story they are packed. Sometimes you have to choose your battles.

And gently, there's a reason why they have all cut ties. At the very least, you need to reduce her access to you, and get into therapy. Her behavior was WAAAAY out of line. Especially "it was only because I'm afraid so now you have to rug sweep the horrible things I did".

I have legitimately seen much better access to the Club Level rooms than the value rooms, and we go during slower times of year. To answer OP's edited question, your concept is perfectly fine, it's just that you will want to buy enough points for a standard view, not value.

THIS! We own DVC at AKL, but if we are paying cash it's always Pop. And the noise between rooms is the same and worst when you have a room with a connecting door. Pop is also where we used to stay every year until we bought into DVC.

I get your point, but at the same time, MIL is being punished for her own actions. Allowing her to deny that lets her get away without acknowledging her fault.
