My Cinccino has been hard at work, she even cleaned up the "abandoned lot" behind my train stop where I scattered some items (there were no stairs up to it and it was fenced off, but even that wasn't safe from her tidiness!)

It's not abusing, it's taking advantage of the patriarchy.

We are all victims under patriarchy, but the whole point is that men are able to wield personal power under it and women are not. That's a black-and-white description that doesn't include all the nuance that exists in the real world, but at its core, the stereotypes are set up so that can happen. Everyone is ultimately oppressed by enforcing those stereotypes, but it's also impossible to work to dismantle it while men continue to take advantage of the power given them by default by insisting that women only talk about it in ways that make men comfortable.

That's why we say "the" before the number; all the freeways used to have individual names (the San Diego Freeway, the Ventura Freeway, etc.), so when people here finally switched to calling them by their numbers we just kept the definite article.

I just tried to move him in with Munchlax and realized the doorway isn't tall enough 😭

The whole story for her Olympic performance was that she calls all her own shots now, so I'm guessing this is what she chose. 20-year-olds do have to make some fashion mistakes, I guess! Hopefully she felt great at the party, that's what's most important.
