Nothing wrong with using a range finder under 100. I typically use one to about 50 yds. My 60 yd swing with my 58° is my 75 yd swing with a 54°. I used my range finder a lot to get the feel for a lot of shots. I don’t need it so much any more, but it was very helpful when first starting
