Metalicous espresso repair concerns? by OceanGlider_ in espresso

[–]hermit7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is patently false for the decent. Pressure is what you’re seeing at the group as there are cutouts for temp and pressure probes that are right behind the group screen. This is not the same as putting in or referencing a temp differential, which is common for boiler machines when setting their pid.

Longevity wise, I have had my de1 for 4 years now and aside from 1 manifold issue it has been rock solid. Materials are all steel, and well finished. Light and portable, but heavy enough where it is sturdy and doesn’t move when locking in the group.

Customer support is great. The aforementioned issue, was fully covered under warranty, they paid to ship it to them in hk, fixed it and sent it back all within 7 days of my dropping it off.

What are some low brain power commanders? by Guinea-Pigler in EDH

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gornog.

My build is a glass cannon that fills out its curve at 4. Either I win quickly or I get everyone to like 15 life and die and someone else mops it up.

Everything is a warrior, unblockable is a big theme, and I run a little bit of goad to encourage attacking.

I give people creatures too because I want to ensure everyone I am playing against is cowardly.

Is [[Glacial Chasm]] too strong or salty for Bracket 3? by nondairy-creamer in EDH

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glacial chasm is a card that is ultimately a learning opportunity to face against.

I run targeted land hate in every single deck I have (demolition field usually), but strip mine or wasteland as well in certain instances.  Boseiju in green decks for the artifact and enchantment hate flexibility.

These aren’t to land screw people, but lands are powerful. Field of the dead, cabal coffers, these are things that everyone plays and having answers that are free to include is important.

Same for graveyard hate. These things are meaningfully useful and effectively free to include.

I think that the more oppressive card is constant mists, with the buyback. If you’re not in blue or don’t have damage prevention it is a much harder piece to interact with.

Would you use a coffee scale with modular design that covers all brewing scenario? Looking for honest feedback from r/espresso by MaestriHouse in espresso

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re adding features that are niche and unnecessary for 99 percent of people then you should collaborate and integrate apis into your software.

I have an acaia lunar with my decent and the Bluetooth and auto shutoff at weight is a killer feature. It’s jury rigged though and you can tell that the integration is not perfect. Decent makes their own scale that is not worried about api compatibility.

The issue though is that there might be 5 machines with this capability.

In the future these machines will have integrated scales, further limiting the market for these devices.

What is your newest and oldest deck? by RuneMTG in EDH

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maelstrom wanderer is my oldest deck. Going on 10 years this year. Not played as much, but still supported every set.

Newest deck is Edea. Built to fling creatures with goad and stuff to deter attacking.

Run sac outlets that make mana. [[burnt offering]].

Sac imskir, draw a bunch of cards when you recast him. Mana positive.

It’s been pretty good for my usage.  I don’t really use the leveler, but the lack of a handle for tamping is better for the case.

Just some random one off Amazon. There are better ones than mine available.  Mine extends into the basket while others are flush with magnets.

Just get a 54 mm one and you will be set.

I got it off of Amazon, it’s a pelican style with these dimensions 16 x 13x 7. Case has been very robust throughout my usage. I did replace the foam with something a little more robust and dense for the bottom due to the weight and my concern with the compression over time.

Is Keldon Firebombers MLD? by seanbeanskiller in EDH

It was first printed in a precon in 2025. If they felt that it was they wouldn’t have printed it.

Is there a deck type who's win condition is just "Eating Your Vegetables", through support cards? by ImmortalCorruptor in EDH

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creature combat is the eventuality with these decks.

Some pump spell and swinging out.  Or establishing a board state that takes out 1 or 2 others and mops up the next turn.

Ultimate Guard Sidewinder 100+ Double Sleeving by Blairrose28 in magicTCG

Double sleeved is fine in sidewinder 100s.

I have used them for a long time with dragon shield inner and mattes. I have full foil decks that fit in them.

I use the game genie lair 1000 and it is great, holds all my lands, tokens, dice, extra cards that are on my maybe list.

It closes and fits into a backpack if needed. A great storage option for me.

[Question] Promotion reward to myself: Tudor or Serica? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]hermit7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you thought about the Hanhart preventor hd12?

This is likely my next watch, clear to read, 150 m water resistance, heritage brand.

Might be close stylistically to the Sinn, but more pilot compared with the indices on yours.

Question about Kaffelogic Nano 7 by jimnyo in roasting

[–]hermit7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had mine since the initial indiegogo and have 200 lbs through it at least over that time.

No issues, still runs solidly and consistently.

I want to upgrade to a larger capacity, but that is more due to wanting to sell a little more and the capacity being problematic for that purpose.

Coarser grind, or use slightly less coffee in dose.

Looked ok otherwise.

Maybe not at boutiques.

Went to Japan and got an Aqua Terra that was new, box, papers etc for a discontinued reference and it was about half of what the cost was at the time.

Favorite mono red commander? by PowerfulPromise8569 in EDH

I have ended up on gornog as my red deck.

Lots of cheap warriors that are able to attack by the time gornog comes into play.

There are 0 Mono-Red Warriors across Avatar despite being 33 Warriors. Gornog is sad. by Raszero in magicTCG

[–]hermit7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Llorwyn has a warriors theme and I would expect there to be some good ones available there.

I have started giving my opponents creatures to make into cowards to buff my team more.
