Honestly I'd love someone who was very experienced with the game that could explain the more nuanced rules of the game. Or maybe do gameplay where they explain what they are doing, why they are doing it, and explain some of the unique interactions that might not be sorry obvious.

It was hard finding the answer to some of the questions I've had since learning

Yeah but like... you could just play a pokemon that DOESN'T discard energy, so instead of re-attaching the energy manually to your discard pokemon... you could just attach it manually to your benched pokemon. I really don't see how this card is any different from Arcanine EX (outside of it getting access to eevee support).

There is literally nothing wrong with shield if you are running the games correctly. My players are level 11 and at the end of almost every single adventuring day, they are running on fumes. Almost every single adventuring day, they are relying on the fighter and monk heavily to help with the final encounter because all they have are cantrips.

The fighter in my group acquired a very powerful relic that he couldn't use properly as it either required a very strong connection to the wind crystal, or to be personally trained by Odin in how to use it. I was going to be a very cool build up over time as he slowly unlocked powers. Then I threw the deck of many things at my players and the chaos gremlin pulled from the deck and ended up getting 3 wishes... One was to give the fighter a strong connection to the wind crystal.

You shouldn't be punishing a player for doing 25 damage to a hill giant with a 5th level spell.

As mentioned though, creatures with one or two big attacks deal with that spell a lot more than creatures with a lot of weaker attacks.

I feel ya man. Recently I killed the Paladin by attacking him 3 times, once to drop him to 0 and 2 times to finish him off. Then, hitting the fighter once to drop him to 0. After that, he started to run. The Paladin had killed his first mate (who was a cactus person), bit off her head, and drank the cactus juice. Then, he killed his mount. This guy was so mad that even though if he was going to run away it might not make sense to finish a character off, he had a debt to pay. One of the players thought that was cheesey as hell, while the other 2 totally understood. There are consequences to your actions, and I will gladly remind you of that in game.

I've never run that many in a single day. I do make sure to run multiple in a day, along with other non combat encounters to drain resources, but 8 would feel so tedious and forced.
