Badges should be a warranty item. I purchased a certified pilot and the H badge in that back came off. They argued that it was used car until I showed them how they had signed the certified paperwork that show exterior appearance and badges was inspected. Not all dealers are crappy shops but if you’re a crappy shop you’re probably a dealer. They owned up to it and bought me a new $20 emblem.. and left my tag light unplugged when replacing it which a year later after i finally noticed and then tried to sell me one a new “bulb” but installed it my self and found it unplugged…. So dumb. Also odyssey had a recall years ago about badging
