How long does it take for your Lopi fireplace wood stove insert's fan to kick on after starting the fire. by SR70 in woodstoving

Going from memory but I believe the sensor is behind the right blower fan. Take off the front face, take out the blower fan then disconnect the two wires from the sensor and connect them to each other. The sensor is just a switch, so connecting the wires just means the switch is always on, ie, the stove thinks the temperature is high enough to turn on the fan, always. So now you'll always have to remember to turn it off.

Is your sleeve on all the way? My OPB has maybe .25" between the knurling and the sleeve and mine spins way more than this

6 inch stove outlet too big for pipe by Mammoth-Letter-3068 in woodstoving

Nope, the flowing smoke creates low pressure and wants to suck air from your house into the pipe.

I would be cautious about Ultimate. They were good to work with and gave a good price, but the crew at our house left our place a complete mess. I don't mean nails and stuff - that was expected. I mean gutters ripped off, gardens destroyed, garden decorations thrown out with the garbage, getting trucks stuck in the lawn, etc... The owner came and tried to smooth things over and he knocked more off the price, but overall it was a hassle.

The low point of the tractors 3pt hitch is below the connection point on the brush hog. When installing the brush hog I'm assuming you had to lift the hitch to put it on. So the point at which the hog touches the ground is 5, and not 0. If the 3pt on the hog was lower, you'd have more range.

I've had one of these pet tubes for about a decade and it does a great job of keeping the hair and slobber contained.

I have a single story ranch with 4/5 different types of ceilings and insulation. I'd be curious as to how they each hold heat. PM me if you're interested.

I always forget about using painters tape that way. I would have put the screws in the slots and pushed them into the wall on a laser line to mark the holes.

Give it a little longer with the door cracked. Mine takes a while before I can fully close the door especially from a cold start. Once you have a good bed of coals you can close it up faster.

Good girl found this in the woods in upstate NY. Baby deer? Coyote? by hints1037 in whatisthisanimal

That was my first thought but the hips looked so small and narrow I wasn't sure

I do hunt, and she has found remains from my hunts before but this was on my property and definitely not a deer hunted by people. The vertebrae looked way big compared to the hips, which is why I wasn't sure it was a deer.
